Pantai Cenang, Langkawi, Kedah

Few weeks back I went to Langkawi, and I decided to try a random restaurant, and we chose Putumayo, a really beautiful restaurant, with great ambience, but it kinda has lots of mosquito, but thank god they got mosquito coils.. :) Here are some food we tried.. <3
The vege of the day, Kailan
The rice was served in a star shape..:)
BBQ King Prawns, Indonesian style..The waiter said that they were famous for their BBQ King Prawns, but for those in the picture, 2 big ones, the price was RM 85..However the other foodstuff were pretty reasonable and the cocktails were just RM15, so if you choose the right dishes, it won't be that expensive.. :)
Another Place we managed to visit was Telaga Arab restaurant, also with superb ambience, they had tables in huts which is perfect if you want some privacy and if you are more of the AC type, they have an indoor area too..:)
Super yummy lamb kebab..but they didn't call it kebab..it was urm...I think it was Arabian Lamb Sandwich or something like that, just ask the super buff waiter and he'll know..:P
We also tried the Sotong Fried rice, and to my surprise, it was pretty good, I mean, I would have expected a normal fried rice with just few extra squid, but this tasted different and was really good!:)
Me and my hot chocolate :) <3

Little Penang Cafe, Midvalley

I used to love the Asam Laksa in Jusco but recently, my family told me that the Laksa isn't as yummy already as its very diluted..personally, I have not tried it lately, so I can't really tell, here are some review on the food in The Little Penang Cafe in Midvalley.. :)
Nasi Lemak, this was yummy :)
Black Pulut Dessert, uhm..YUCKY..had some things that didn't go with the taste..:P
Prawn mee, was okayh..
My yummy Asam Laksa, I enjoyed this very much :) and I'm so sorry for the blurred pictures below..xD
Curry mee, this was pretty good too..
Fried Kuey Teow, was okay but nothing compared to the ones you can get from the hawkers.. :)

How to make Fresh Soy Milk/Soy Drink :P

My family seem to have a huge liking for homesoy and when they wanted to stock up on it, I had an idea of trying to make Soya myself..I still don't believe that those packed drinks have any benefits..:P Step by step just for ya! <3 class="separator" data-blogger-escaped-div="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> First, soak the soy beans overnight
It'll look like this..
Drain the water and blend the beans with some filtered water
If you can get the cloth, which they usually use, its good, but if you cant, just use a strainer like this, used for coffee or tea...
This is what you'll get, foamy pot of raw soy milk~
Just drop in one or two pieces of tied Pandan Leaves and boil till the raw taste is gone :P You can either add in the sugar straight into the pot or boil some sugar water in a different pot, I usually hit a ginger with the back of a heavy knife and drop it into the sugar water..
Serve hot or with ice! :)

My lil Penang Food Adventure~

Penang is famous for its food and many keep comparing it to KL, the place where most of the food are awesome!:P Well, I managed to go around the island searching for my favourite food, the famous Asam Laksa Penang~ :) Here are the few I tried, enjoy! <3 The first stop, MacAllister Road, Penang
Chee Cheong Porridge, which I didnt like..:(
Fried Oyster, which was ok, pretty fresh :) Next was Penang Road,
Famous Cendol, super YUMMY! *I am saying this even I don't usually enjoy cendol**
Asam laksa from Penang road, I enjoyed this 1 the most compared to the rest I tried.. <3 Stop No. 3, Balik Pulau
This place is supposed to have really good Asam Laksa, but the shop we wanted to go was closed, so we tried the one nearby and that was pretty yummy too :) Stop No. 4, the famous Gurney Drive,
The asam laksa here was just okay..and I actually walked around trying to smell the best asam laksa in gurney drive and I chosed the one in the middle..:P
Pasembur or something like that...supposed to be like our Mamak Rojak in KL, but I taste NOTHING same AT ALL..:P this was pretty horrible..:( YES, I am an Asam Laksa Monnster..xD

Capricciosa, Sunway Pyramid, KL

A new place in Sunway Pyramid, near J. Co donuts, this place serves 'fresh pasta'... Well, it tasted like 'pan mee' actually..:P They also had pizza and stuffs, but the promotion for their opening isn't on anymore I think..o.O I personally felt that I like the 'un-fresh' pasta better after tasting these..but I had those with the mussels and it was fresh..the smaller clams were not though..:P The pizza took quite some time to come, but it was just okayh.. Pictures here~~
Only remembered to take the picture of the cheese pizza..@.@
Some other random food stuffs~
My first subway :/ I know, I know, how can I not have tried it??Well, initially, when I was still around in KL, it wasn't as famous, and I, who was kinda reluctant to try the 'too-expensive-sandwich' just didn't bother, and when it did get really famous, I was in Kuching, and they DO NOT have Subway..:( But I went with Honey Oat bread with chicken teriyaki(I copied my sister's choice as I really had no idea how was I supposed to order or what so ever..*don't say its written there on the glass in the shop..:P*) and I added some olives too..I really liked it!but I didn't really enjoy the taste of the olives mixed with the sweet teriyaki sauce..:( Overall, it was good and I liked it! :)
Just another picture to show you how well my mum can cook~ :P <3

Other food I enjoy~ :)

I am constantly eating, and I have some special ways of eating my food..:P People around me will already know that fact, and I want to share that with my readers, I hope my blogging skills will improve with time too :P
Milano, chocolate-orange filled yummy thingy~ :P Super super love this, but it can be a little sweet, and you can get this from Cold Storage, at about RM10
Some hello kitty sweet my sister loves, I personally thought it was nice, but still not as fantastic as those hard candy you can get in Marks and Spencer's..This sweet can be bought at Daiso :)
Raw, sour mango~ :P Many still haven't tried this I believe, but I love this just with salt, my mum used to make a sauce with sweet thick soy sauce, prawn paste, sugar and chilli..try it and let me know how you like it! :)
Sarawak Laksa, very different from your average laksa, a MUST try! If you cant fly to Sarawak, there's one in Bangsar that is super good too! :) Love yawl~ Good night :) <3
